For the past 21 years, I've been speaking with diabetics and medical professionals around the world about the emotions that come with living with diabetes and how to thrive.

On November 8th and 9th, I will be the closing speaker. Diabetes + Mental Health Virtual Conference. if Your mental health is worth $50. you should be there. Healthcare workers can earn 7 CEUs for participating. As a caregiver, you can gain new insights and tools on how to support your loved one.

Experts from around the world come together online to help address dietary stress, general and specific fears, perfectionism, stigma, diagnosis trauma, technology strain, anxiety, depression, shame, difficult conversations, and more. This is the third year that we have been helping people cope. This is the almost desert mecca of our diabetic emotional world.

I don't recommend things often or lightly, but you have the right to live your life less burdened by the “fear” of diabetes and more knowledgeable and able to deal with it when it comes.
