Our guest today is Sandra Rodriguez, the capacity development coordinator at Project Vida Health Center in El Paso, Texas. For over 20 years, Project Vida has been serving local communities of mostly Hispanic and Latino individuals, who according to the CDC are twice as likely to develop type 2 diabetes compared to their non-Hispanic white counterparts.
