In the latest, for the 10th anniversary of his organisation, the singer organised a fundraiser event. While the Jonas brothers’ performance was the highlight, Priyanka Chopra’s unwavering support also won hearts.

Beyond Type 1 was formed to challenge old perceptions about diabetes and demonstrate what it genuinely means to live beyond a diagnosis; nonetheless, access to information, strong support systems, and quality care are critical for both physical and mental health.

Nick Jonas’ Struggle With Diabetes

Earlier this year, Nick shared a post that included a photo of him sitting on a couch with a diabetes monitoring patch on his bicep. It also included artwork illustrating his life, such as a child Nick sitting in a hospital, the singer with his siblings singing in an arena, and a young and elderly Nick reflecting on his future life.

The singer wrote in the caption, “After my type 1 diabetes diagnosis at 13, it felt like someone was shutting the door on my dreams. Now, stepping back on the Broadway stage, I wish that I could go back and tell my younger self that everything turns out better than I could ever imagine.I need to control my diabetes and accomplish more than my 13-year-old self ever dreamed possible.”

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra will be seen in A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, which premiered on Disney+ and Hulu on November 14. The film follows the Jonas Brothers, Kevin, Joe and Nick, as they attempt to travel from London to New York in time for Christmas, encountering a variety of amusing and touching challenges.
