of diabetes education program Stevens Memorial Hospital is recognized by the American Association of Diabetes Educators and is staffed by certified diabetes educators. Our mission is to improve medical outcomes and quality of life for community members living with diabetes.

Our diabetes education program provides:

  • Diabetes self-management education
  • Insulin pump initiation and ongoing management
  • continuous blood glucose monitor
  • Insulin and other injection training
  • blood glucose meter training
  • carbohydrate count
