Diabetes Education Classes Available at Franciscan St. Margaret Health

Franciscan St. Margaret Health-Dyer and Hammond offer a series of diabetes education classes on an ongoing basis.

Classes will assist participants with individual meal plans designed to meet specific needs and provide information in accordance with American Diabetes Associations.

Classes consist of four, two-hour sessions. Morning, afternoon and evening sessions are available and rotate between the Dyer and Hammond campuses. Classes are taught by certified diabetes educators.

Program fees are covered by most insurances companies, but individuals should check before calling to register.

Medicare Part B covers a series of classes once and individual appointments yearly.
