Pamela Anderson, 58, spills her glowing skin, hair thickening and healthy living secrets

There are few stars with aesthetics as instantly recognizable as Pamela Anderson. She didn’t just wear the ’90s bombshell look; she pretty much invented it. The platinum blonde hair, the sultry, smoky eye and the pinky-nude lip she wore set the model for a certain kind of hot glamour and sex appeal back then. Anderson became both a face of that era and, in many ways, its blueprint. Decades later, her iconic beauty looks are still celebrated and recreated in countless TikToks and YouTube videos.

These days, Anderson is in a quieter and more intentional chapter of her life. She’s rewriting the rules of beauty not by adding more, but by taking nearly everything away. In 2023, she attended Paris Fashion Week bare-faced, sharing how she began paring back after her makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, passed away in 2019. Then, in 2024, she took over the skin care brand Sonsie, joining as co-founder and owner alongside her sons, Brandon and Dylan. Though she’s lived many different beauty eras, this current one feels most authentic to the Naked Gun star.

“Freedom to be oneself feels like a luxury that’s earned now,” she tells Yahoo. “We’re inundated with other people’s lives and ways of being… We all hit that crossroads where you throw your hands up and say, ‘Who am I?’ I’ve had a lot of fun… maybe a few regrets… but I’ve never followed trends. I have a clearer sense of self now. I’ve always believed there’s nothing to lose when you’re guided by a good heart.”

Anderson was inspired to create Sonsie after realizing that cruelty-free values and real sustainability practices were missing in the beauty industry. “I’m on top of it,” she says. “You never truly know if what someone says is true — but you can count on me. This is my priority.” (Fahim Kassam/Courtesy of Sonsie Skin)

Anderson says aging isn’t something she tries to outsmart or disguise. When it comes to caring for her skin, she explains that moisture and hydration are key, rather than tackling wrinkles. Simplicity is also a big draw. “The simpler the routine, the more likely I’ll follow it,” she says. “I made Sonsie because it suits me, and many women like me, who don’t fall for gimmicks, trends or following the herd. Just true, good stuff… my skin looks better now than ever.”

Below, Anderson shares her must-haves from Sonsie, along with the other top beauty and self-care favorites she keeps on hand.

Pamela Anderson’s beauty and healthy living staples for 2026

Sonsie

“The Cleansing Mousse is a godsend… it does so much on its own and leaves your skin incredibly soft,” says Anderson. It features a unique lineup of ingredients, including ginger root extract and bisabolol, both known to help reduce inflammation and redness in the skin. It also has a subtle hint of rose, inspired by the those Anderson grows in her garden.

Sonsie

Anderson often chooses to go makeup-free on the red carpet and in magazine photo shoots. To help combat redness, she uses this Adapt Cream, which features a 2.5% adaptive tripeptide complex and 1.0% bacillus ferment blend for skin repair. Its green hue allows it to double as a color corrector.

Sonsie

Anderson always finishes her routine with the Multi Moisture Cream, a head-to-toe hydrator made with 12% glycerin and .5% hyaluronic acid. It can be used as a daily moisturizer, 20-minute face mask, overnight mask and body cream.

Sonsie

This squalane-and-peptide lip balm is perfect for keeping a signature pout like Anderson’s well-moisturized. It has a touch of glossiness for the perfect amount of shine — no wonder she keeps it on her “at all times.” It’s also her favorite product from the line.

(On that note, Anderson did recently tell Yahoo that she was making a pickle-flavored lip balm. No news on whether it will be a part of Sonsie or for her own personal pickle-loving pleasure.)

Ulta

Anderson may not use much makeup now, but she once kept this popular Ilia concealer in her bag. (Jennifer Aniston is also a fan!) Its buildable, lightweight formula is made with vitamin C, glycerin, Persian silk tree bark and mastic, a combination that brightens and refines the skin, evens out tone and has antioxidant benefits.

Biology

“The Biolage products are wonderful,” says Anderson. “They are also cruelty-free and make sustainability a priority.”

The brand’s lightweight scalp serum is meant to initiate new hair growth and help prevent further loss. “I really love the Full Rescue Scalp Serum,” Anderson says. “I use it in the evenings, like a little ritual. It soothes my scalp, smells beautiful, and makes me feel like I’m doing something kind for myself.”

Ulta Beauty

The Biolage line is infused with rosemary oil, a clinically-proven, natural hair growth agent. In fact, a 2015 study found topical rosemary oil to be as effective as minoxidil at growing new hair in mice.

Anderson is also a fan of Biolage’s hair mask, which is infused with rosemary oil and scalp-balancing niacinamide.

Flamingo Estate

Just like in the movies, at the end of a long day, Anderson says she relaxes with a salted bubble bath, in a room lit by candles, including this one from Flamingo Estate, which has notes of bergamot, Damask rose, pink peppercorn and sandalwood. (Fun fact: Anderson made rose-infused pickles for the brand, which are sadly sold out.) As for what she’s listening to during bathtime? “Nina Simone, Freddie King, Miles Davis or Coltrane, depending on my mood.”

Zappos

For Anderson, beauty is a lot more than skin care — it involves self care too. She says a perfect day includes journaling, baking sourdough and going for a nature walk in the woods or on the beach. She “loves” these classic Hunter boots and often wears them while walking or working in her garden.

Bevagna

After her morning walks, Anderson settles down for a quiet moment with an oat cortado in her favorite Bevagna mug, made by Italian housewares brand Il Buco Vita. Each of its classic latte cups is handcrafted in Italy from glazed terracotta.
