USA Health Disability Resource Fair

USA Health is offering education and support to families of children with special needs on Sept. 30, 2025, during a Disability Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Strada Patient Care Center in the first-floor lobby.

This fair will provide local resources for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as information and training related to autism, including:

Services available for Medicaid-eligible children with a diagnosis of autismFamily education and support resources for young childrenEducation and employment services for children and adults with and without disabilitiesEarly childhood developmental screening and resources for supporting children and familiesMaternal and child healthInformation about the Hope Class inclusive special needs ministryParent education resources.

Agencies participating include: Alabama Department of Mental Health Autism Services, Coastal Family Partners, Goodwill Gulf Coast, Help Me Grow, Mobile County Health Department, Oak Park Church Hope Class, and the University of South Alabama Regional Autism Network (USARAN).

The USA Health Department of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and USARAN host these fairs regularly to educate families about resources available to support their needs.
