“Winter Wine” raises funds for YMCA's Healthy Living Program

South Sioux City, Nevada (KCAU) — Sourander accepted cold winter weather, or its lack, in the warmest possible way by sampling wine.

Friday's “Winter Wine” participants were able to enjoy the newly engraved Prime Rib at a silent auction supporting Norm Waitt YMCA's healthy living program. All SIPs and all bids will help members on their wellness journey.

The YMCA is preparing to open a youth development and early learning centre in a few weeks.

“We are very excited to open the Youth Development and Early Learning Center,” said Executive Director Lanai Larson. “We'll be ready in a few weeks. We're excited to get our existing kids and get the opportunity to get that community. We're excited to have parenting, have a place for them to go and have a place for our members to play in indoor playgrounds.”

A healthy living program is also underway, with new wellness floors and equipment starting in March.

KCAU 9 is a proud sponsor of wines about winter.
