Through the non-profit organization MatchingDonors.com, as an official certifying organization, our Volunteer Diabetes Advocates, Advisors and Peer Mentors are eligible to receive the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) for their dedication to helping you through your diabetes journey. These volunteers that achieve the minimum 100 hours of volunteering, receive a congratulatory letter from the President of the United States, a certificate, a medallion, and a pin.
The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) recognizes incredible individuals who are committed to a high level of volunteerism and service. Our volunteers work tirelessly to help solve some of the toughest challenges facing people with diabetes.

We have many Advocates, Advisors, and Peer Mentors that can help you and will answer your questions. Feel free to make an appointment with them below.
The Advocates, Advisors, and Peer Mentors are:
1. Diabetes doctors, endocrinologists, nephrologists or a healthcare professional in a patient’s area willing to discuss a patient’s Diabetes treatment options
2. Peer Mentor experts on patients with Diabetes that may need a kidney transplant
3. Peer Mentors who are family members or support people for a patient with Type 1 Diabetes
4. Peer Mentors who are family members or a support people for a patient with Type 2 Diabetes
5. Peer Mentors who are patients with Type 1 Diabetes who have been treated for Type 1 Diabetes by a doctor, endocrinologist, or a nephrologist, for at least three years
6. Peer Mentors who are patients with Type 2 Diabetes who has been treated for Type 2 Diabetes by a doctor, endocrinologist, or a nephrologist, for at least three years
