REXBURG — Eastern Idaho Public Health is pleased to announce Live in Control, a free diabetes self-management education program designed to provide the education, empowerment, and skills needed to better manage the disease of diabetes. I am very happy.
This program differentiates itself from other diabetes self-management classes by assigning a “care supporter” to each session.
Participants are encouraged to bring their family and friends as we learn together to better manage diabetes and promote a healthier lifestyle. Participants with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes will receive two hours of weekly classes led by a trained facilitator for five weeks.
Live in Control classes begin at 10 a.m. every Tuesday in October at the Eastern Idaho Public Health Office in Rexburg (314 North 3rd East).
Pre-registration is required by Friday, September 27th to participate. To make a reservation, call Timalee (208) 390-0886 or email [email protected].
