GLOW YMCA, in partnership with Rochester Regional Health (RRH), recently celebrated the opening of its Healthy Living Campus in Batavia. The campus is the new joint home of RRH Batavia Primary Care, the Genesee County YMCA and United Memorial Medical Center's Healthy Living Program. .
The 78,000-square-foot building at 211 E. Main St. offers a wide range of services including primary care, an exercise studio, cancer screenings, nutrition education services, and recreational and multipurpose space.
The Healthy Living Campus has 20 exam rooms and two treatment rooms, and UMMC providers provide primary care and telehealth appointments, behavioral health and crisis intervention support, as well as cancer prevention support, chronic disease, and community care. Provide educational services.
The site includes new and expanded gathering and education spaces for UMMC Healthy Living Services, including a Baby Café group for new parents.
The YMCA portion includes an aquatic center, group exercise studio, wellness center, indoor track, educational kitchen, and an adventure room playground for children. The new Y will also include classrooms that offer preschool programs throughout the year and camps in the summer.
