Mayor's Wellness Campaign to Promote Healthy Living in Cherry Hill

Cherry Hill, NJ – The mayor of Cherry Hill is launching a campaign to promote healthy habits in the town.

“Healthy – Mayor Cherry Hill Wellness Campaign” identifies and promotes healthy living opportunities, including recreational opportunities, fitness programs, and cooking classes.

Mayor Dave Fleischer and his wife Jen are co-chairs of the campaign.

The initiative will begin with a wellness walk at Cherry Hill Mall at 9am Wednesday. The public is invited to join Fleischer and the Township Council members on walks. Convened by Season 52 and the entrance to the blue fig garden within the mall.

Wellness walks are held every month.

Residents can also sign up and take Mayor's Wellness Campaign Pledgethere are three components.

  1. Become active: Exercise at least three times a week for 30 minutes.
  2. Healthier Eating: Increases fruit and vegetable consumption, drink more water, and limits junk food consumption.
  3. Find out your number: Please consult your doctor to understand my weight, BMI, cholesterol and blood pressure.
