ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — When you hear venom control, you might consider a centre that helps children who accidentally eat something dangerous or bite venomous insects and snakes.

Poison Centers receive these emergency calls, but did you know that UNM Health's New Mexico Poison and Drug Information Center has a team that works 24 hours a day to make calls specifically about drug and alcohol use?
