New Delhi: chief minister of delhi Arvind KejriwalOfficials said Wednesday that his blood sugar level in ED custody had dropped to 46. Officials added that Kejriwal’s health condition had deteriorated during his custody at the ED and his blood sugar levels were constantly fluctuating.
However, sources in the ED denied reports regarding Kejriwal’s health condition. They said his health condition is being monitored and all procedures are being carried out in accordance with the law and court orders. It further said that his medical report was submitted to the court and that doctors were monitoring his health within the emergency headquarters.
Reports of the Prime Minister’s unwellness were confirmed today by his wife Sunita Kejriwal, who said in a video address, “Yesterday, I met Arvind ji, who is in ED custody. He is diabetic and his blood sugar levels are low.” “It’s not normal. But he’s determined.”
Mr. Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy case related to the money laundering case. The Rouse Avenue court on Friday remanded Kejriwal to six-day ED custody till March 28 in a money laundering case related to the alleged liquor policy fraud after his arrest on March 21.
The Delhi High Court is scheduled to hear Kejriwal’s plea against his arrest and ED custody at 4 pm today.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal on Wednesday said in the Delhi CM that the whereabouts of the money in the alleged liquor scam will be revealed on Thursday, March 28.
“Mr. Kejriwal will testify in court on Thursday, March 28,” she said at a press conference.
She added that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) did not recover any money from their residences during the March 21 raid. She said the ED has also not recovered money from the residences of other jailed AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain.
