The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host the four-part Cooking Well with Diabetes series in Waco beginning Oct. 2.
The four-lesson course will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. every Thursday from Oct. 2 through Oct. 23 at the AgriLife Extension office in McLennan County, 4224 Cobbs Drive. The cost of this series is $25. The registration deadline is Sept. 30.

The interactive cooking demonstrations cover:
Recognizing carbohydrates in foods.
Planning balanced meals.
Increasing healthy fats.
Improving sodium and fiber content.
