Have you ever been asked, “what can eat as a diabetic”? Or maybe “how are you a diabetic, you're not overweight”? These are what we call “Diabetic Myths.” Things that the public believes to be true but simply aren't. Most Diabetic Myths don't have any relevance in truth. They're based on individuals that are uneducated about the disease. It's up to us to not only educate ourselves but the community.
In today's episode, Graham and I talk about some of these MYTHS and ask ourselves do they have any basis in FACT?
