A young entrepreneur from Wichita Falls has entered the business world far from home and despite serious medical issues.
Will Butler grew up in Wichita Falls and went to Holliday High School.
He has now become the founder of Siro, a business development firm based in Boston.
“I’m 25 now. I was at Oklahoma State for like my college years. So I’ve been away from Wichita Falls for four or five years, but I’m back for holidays. My family is there,” Butler said.
He said he jumped into the business world before finishing his degree in aviation management and operations.
Butler’s company specializes in cold email, which is the digital version of cold calling in the sales world.
“We have our own private IP sequencer that we leverage alongside of Instantly, a cold email sequencer and software,” he said. “My company helps B to B [business to business] teams get into rooms that drive impact.”

He embarked on his enterprise despite being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2022.
“Diabetes is something that I always have to constantly manage and look at, checking my blood sugar and giving myself insulin,” Butler said.
He compared managing his diabetes to running his business.
“It’s always running. It’s always going, and if you take your foot off the gas or if you take your focus off of your health when it comes to being Type 1 diabetic, then you see drawbacks,” he said.
He also said his business ambitions include helping people who share his disease.
“I want to have the ability to give back more and more. I do believe that a cure is possible for Type 1 diabetes,” he said.
Butler’s family has a ranch in the Seymour area where he said he learned a strong work ethic he applied to a variety of jobs during his college year from being a dishwasher to waiting tables.
Although he doesn’t envision returning to Texas anytime soon, “Wichita Falls is always going to be home to me,” he said.
