Meets bi-weekly on Wednesdays | 12:00–1:00 p.m. CT

Join us for Part 3 of the Well Wisconsin Diabetes Workshop Series, running through May 2026. This three-session series focuses on applying healthy habits to real-life situations—movement, food choices, and daily actions that support long-term health.

You do not need to attend all four parts of the overall series to earn your Well-Being Activity credit.

Each workshop part stands on its own, and recordings of all sessions will be available for those who are unable to attend live.

If you missed Part 1 or Part 2, recordings can be found in the Well Wisconsin Online Library under “Workshops.”

Workshop Focus & Goal

Building Sustainable Habits for Life

Goal: Strengthen confidence in applying healthy habits to everyday life by focusing on realistic movement, flexible food choices, and small daily actions that support long-term health and help reduce the risk of complications.

Session Topics

Session 7: Physical Activity & Strength Training

Learn how physical activity and strength training support blood sugar management, including recommended guidelines, flexibility, and simple equipment options.Participants will practice turning plans into action through a short movement break, real-life scenarios, and a safe, beginner-friendly strength-training challenge.

Session 8: Eating Out, Travel & Social Gatherings

Discover practical strategies for eating out, traveling, and attending social gatherings while maintaining healthy habits through small, realistic adjustments.Build confidence by working through real-life scenarios, planning-ahead strategies, and completing a simple plan-ahead challenge.

Session 9: Preventing Complications & Managing Long-Term Health

Explore what you can control to support long-term health and reduce the risk of diabetes-related complications through daily habits and overall well-being.Reflect on sustainable lifestyle choices and identify small, consistent actions that support long-term success and continued progress.

**Optional Additional Activities & Challenges will be shared prior to the first session that correlate with the session focus.
