Peer support has always been important to me. When I was diagnosed, that was the first thing I looked for.

I can’t imagine what would happen now if someone my age said, “Hey!” I’m with you. “That would have changed everything.

I’m now using apps like glucose guide I benefit from connecting with other people with type 2 diabetes and being someone who can say, “I’m here with you!”
